Vance Hudson
General Motors Advanced Propulsion Systems Engineer
Vance Hudson is a Technical Rotation and Career Knowledge (TRACK) engineer at General Motors and is currently working as an Advanced Propulsion Systems Engineer in the New Products group supporting both NVH development and future vehicle programs. He joined GM in 2022 with his first TRACK rotations being in Transmission Validation as a validation test engineer and then rotating to be a Transmission Calibration Engineer on the Chevrolet Corvette program. Vance is also an EcoCAR alum from the MSU team, working on both the EcoCAR3 Camaro and then the EcoCAR Mobility Challenge Blazer. Vance holds a Bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University. In his free time, Vance enjoys cooking, motorsports, being outdoors, and exploring all that Michigan has to offer.
